A Rainbow of Soaps

I am selling these soaps to fundraise for a native plant garden at Peace Lutheran Church in honor of my late father, Vincent Albert Pingitore, Jr. Vince was a career firefighter with PG County as well as a safety inspector. He is part of the reason I help other people put out "emotional fires" today.

Native plants are incredibly important to our environment, as well as a passion of mine. This project honors not only my father, but Peace Lutheran Church's location on lands historically belonging to the Piscataway Conoy Tribe. This garden is an investment in our indigenous flora and fauna in a time of rampant ecological disaster.

FAQs

What is your return policy?

If there is something in your soap that shouldn't be there, please contact me ASAP with a photo of the product for a refund or exchange! As each item is handmade, I cannot issue refunds for minor imperfections such as bubbles or mica "spots."

Why did my soap turn crusty!?

Those crystals are a side effect of the glycerin in soap "sweating" due to moisture. The fragrance oil used may also affect how these crystals grow. They are totally harmless and can be wiped off or will disappear on their own under running water.

Are there any allergy warnings?

See above for a listing of ingredients in the soaps as allergens may be present in the product. I do my best to prevent cross-contamination between batches, but it is not always possible given the shared equipment. Made in a home with a cat and dogs, who are normally excluded from the production area, but as anyone with pets knows they do not always honor the "stay out of the basement" rule.
